For Ignition 8.3 by Inductive Automation · Early access
The PulseMQ MES Connector is an Ignition 8.3 module that puts PulseMQ MES on the operator's HMI. One Station per machine shows the running job, asks for downtime reasons, binds material lots with a barcode scan, prints the roll labels, records quality, checks and lab tests, and raises help calls. The operator is signed in as themselves, so every record names the person who made it.
The connector was built alongside an AS9100 composites line. Electronic signatures take a fresh password or PIN every time; lab results are checked against calibrated instruments as of the test; no label is printed without a record of it. Operators sign in with their own PulseMQ MES account (single sign-on with your directory where you use it), never a shared gateway login. See roll-level traceability, first article and calibration and electronic signatures.
We supply the signed module with its checksum and release record, ready-made Perspective views, the install and commissioning guides, and your PulseMQ MES account. You need Ignition 8.3 with Perspective, HTTPS on the gateway, and outbound HTTPS to PulseMQ MES. A Zebra printer and the PLC roll history are optional. See Deployment.
RFID badge sign-in at shared kiosks and a read-only PulseMQ MES assistant on the Station are built and in pilot. Automatic roll labels, printed only once every value on the label is there, can be switched on per machine.

Which Ignition version does the connector need?
Ignition 8.3 with the Perspective module. The connector is a signed Ignition module installed from the gateway's Modules page.
Does the gateway need a shared PulseMQ MES account?
No. Each operator signs in with their own PulseMQ MES account, and every record is made as that person. The gateway itself is paired with a one-time code and holds only its own credential, encrypted.
What happens when the network to PulseMQ MES is down?
Downtime codes and offline label reports wait in a queue on the gateway that survives a restart, and are sent once the link is back. Roll labels can still be printed, marked PROVISIONAL.
Is the connector an Inductive Automation product?
No. It is a PulseMQ module for Ignition. Ignition is a trademark of Inductive Automation, and PulseMQ is not affiliated with or endorsed by Inductive Automation.
